This premium-quality fabric is crafted by skilled weavers who carefully join Kente strips to create larger pieces.

Typically, two yards form a piece, and three pieces combine to make six yards. For a full 12-yard Kente, the weaving process varies—either 14 to 15 wider strips are joined together, or 17 to 18 narrower strips are used to complete the design.
